Our series of schools on low temperature plasma physics has been a great success in the last two decades. In 2018, the 22th International School on "Low Temperature Plasma Physics: Basics and Apllications" and its Master Class "Electronegative plasmas" will take place at the Physikzentrum Bad Honnef, Germany. We are looking forward to it because, once again, we are putting together a very promising program, with support of many colleagues who are willing to give a talk at the School.

Prof. Dr. Achim von Keudell at TEDx
Prof. Achim von Keudell had the honour to join the TEDx event on 19th May 2018 in Bochum with a 15 minutes talk. His TEDx Talk "Extreme Plasmas for Extreme Materials" is about his current field of study the controlling and taming of these extreme plasmas, which will form the basis for future material synthesis. The overarching topic of the event was "Changing Perspectives". Only 200 tickets for the audience were available.
TEDx is a worldwide offspring of the TEDx conference series. The range of topics of the TEDx event was extremly broad covering societal and scientific challenges of the future. The video of the presentation is available here.

Prof. Dr. Achim von Keudell bei TEDx
Prof. Achim von Keudell hatte die Ehre, bei der TEDx-Veranstaltung am 19. Mai 2018 in Bochum mit einem 15-minütigen Vortrag dabei zu sein. In seinem TEDx Talk "Extreme Plasmas for Extreme Materials" geht es um sein aktuelles Forschungsgebiet, die Kontrolle und Zähmung dieser extremen Plasmen, die die Grundlage für die zukünftige Materialsynthese bilden werden. Das übergreifende Thema der Veranstaltung war "Changing Perspectives". Es standen nur 200 Karten für das Publikum zur Verfügung.
TEDx ist ein weltweiter Ableger der TEDx-Konferenzreihe. Das Themenspektrum der TEDx-Veranstaltung war extrem breit gefächert und umfasste gesellschaftliche und wissenschaftliche Herausforderungen der Zukunft. Das Video der Präsentation finden Sie hier.
