Gas Conversion in an sDBD

Surface Dielectric barrier discharges are perfect sources to allow for efficient mixing between plasma and gas. By using a fluid simulation and mimicking the plasma as a volume force acting on the gas, the trajectories of species can be modelled and followed in time.

Plasma Bullet Jet

A plasma bullet jet is developed to monitor post-plasma catalysis mechanisms. A series of ICCD images shows how the plasma expands from a capillary to a substrate surface over 1.5 microseconds.
